Connect TikTok officially

The setup, step by step

  1. Go to your SoReachMe profile

    The connection starts from your profile page.

      Navigate to your profile

      Click your profile picture or open the profile section.

    2. 1.2

      Find Platform Connections

      Scroll to the "Platform Connections" section.

      Click "Connect TikTok"

      The connection modal opens.

  2. Choose "Connect officially"

    Pick the recommended OAuth connection, that is what verifies your metrics.

      Select the top option in the modal

      Click "Connect with TikTok" in the recommended section, not the manual option.

      You are redirected to TikTok

      TikTok's official login page opens.

  3. Log in and authorize

    Grant SoReachMe permission to read your TikTok profile data.

      Log in to TikTok

      Use your TikTok username or email and password, or scan the QR code with the TikTok app.

    2. 3.2

      Review the permissions

      TikTok shows exactly what SoReachMe can access: profile info and video stats.

      Click "Authorize" or "Continue"

      That grants read access to your TikTok data, nothing more.

Troubleshooting

The connection keeps failing or timing out

You are probably not logged into TikTok in this browser. Log in on tiktok.com first, then try connecting again.

TikTok says "App not authorized" or a similar error

Make sure you are using a valid TikTok account. Brand-new accounts sometimes need a few minutes before third-party connections work, wait briefly and try again.

Do I need a TikTok business account?

No. Personal, creator, and business accounts all connect the same way.

Will SoReachMe post videos or like things on my account?

Never. The connection requests read permissions only. SoReachMe can see your profile stats and videos, but can never post, like, comment, or follow on your behalf.

Can I disconnect my TikTok later?

Yes, anytime. On your SoReachMe profile, open Platform Connections and click "Disconnect" next to TikTok. You can also revoke access directly in TikTok's settings.
